Wanderlust

Wanderlust

This photo took more than 100 hours to make.

I have been thinking about this bird every night for the last month until I finally decided to make it real.

The background is the reflection of trees on a lake in Denmark, and I used the cage I had already done before again, a cage made of lamps.

The birds beak and feet are made of a detail of a door knob and the neck and legs are a photo I took of a woman face made of newspaper.

I chose the colour green because it represents adventure, orange symbolizes bliss and excitement and a little yellow to have a part that always keeps our guard up and prevents us from falling in traps.

The bird is released from being restrained.

All photos in the final image are taken by me.
Artworks will have a sticker behind with the edition number and signed by the artist.
