GAIA

I created this artwork when there were the horrific fires in Australia that lead me to think about the earths lung – the Amazon rainforest.
The Earth is clearly disappointed in us humans in general, its has been showing signs of anger with tragic and furious responses that don´t happen now and then but with more frequency than we expect.
Gaia is the ancestral mother of all life, the primal mother Earth goddess who was born from chaos.
This little girl represents a whole new generation that will have the power to give birth to a new world where nature is sacred, preserved and seen as untouchable gold, there to exist and preserve in order for our survival to be possible.
